So it's been ages since I updated this blog, but that's not to say I have'nt been busy..
I've been making lots of chilli jam which I've been selling through two local farm shops. Christmas was a very busy time when I sold over 100 jars...
So this has given me the confidence to take things a little more seriously and I've had a lovely new logo designed and been trying out some other chilli recipes .
I've also decided to enter the Brackley food festival with my chilli jam ad a whole range of chilli plants..
I'm really excited with this new venture and am going to try and develop a chilli farm business ...
So I have converted my utility into a plant nursery and have the following varieties on the go..

Early May in the Garden
August in the Garden
Well its the end of August and its really feeling like Autumn has set in.. The Greengage tree has ripened and I've harvested about8kg of greengages this year.. Most of which has already been made into jam or given away to my lovely neighbour in return for the gooseberries I was given way back in May..
I'm hoping to take the boys out picking blackberries this week and if I can get hold of some suitable jars maybe have a go at making some wine this year..

Brand new blog
well this is my very first blog, and its intended to form an online diary about things that are important to me, my family, creating a lovely home, making crafts and of course , my garden...
We've lived in this market town in the lovely borders of Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for just over 12 yrs, but have only been in our house for coming up to 3 yrs..
And its a keeper, one to take time with, creating a lovely family home and garden...
