So its early May and the Indian Bean Tree has leaves and we still have the old shed in place but we have the new rattan look garden set with its lovely 3meter parasol.
It was very warm early this time compared to normal and plants are flowering a couple of weeks earlier than normal..

August in the Garden
Well its the end of August and its really feeling like Autumn has set in.. The Greengage tree has ripened and I've harvested about8kg of greengages this year.. Most of which has already been made into jam or given away to my lovely neighbour in return for the gooseberries I was given way back in May..
I'm hoping to take the boys out picking blackberries this week and if I can get hold of some suitable jars maybe have a go at making some wine this year..

Brand new blog
well this is my very first blog, and its intended to form an online diary about things that are important to me, my family, creating a lovely home, making crafts and of course , my garden...
We've lived in this market town in the lovely borders of Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for just over 12 yrs, but have only been in our house for coming up to 3 yrs..
And its a keeper, one to take time with, creating a lovely family home and garden...
